Tic Toc

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “(Extra)ordinary.”

I swear I’m not trying to sell you a watch. Or sponsored by Stührling.

This is my workhorse watch – it tells me to walk a little bit faster in the morning, reminds me to eat when my stomach has forgotten, gives me heart attacks halfway through exams and most definitely never bothers to wait for me. This is not a light watch but I hardly feel the weight anymore. This is not a quiet watch  but I hardly hear it anymore. This is watch has been washed, dropped, scratched and scraped yet for every bit it has been forgotten and neglected, I rely on it to never stop and never deviate. Here’s to the (extra)ordinary.

  1. …must be a Swiss one 😉 The picture is really neat! It’s great to have a watch you can rely on. I stopped wearing mine as a teenager when I found out I was addicted into having a look at the time^^ There are so many clocks hanging around here that you barely need one anyhow. Thanks for sharing!
